Through a focus on innovative policy, substantive research, training, and community engagement, the Institute to Transform Child Protection works toward a more effective nationwide child protection system that preserves families, prevents trauma, and builds resilience within communities.

At the Institute to Transform Child Protection, we accomplish our goals and promote best practices on behalf of families. We concentrate our work in five main areas: community engagement, teaching, training, research, and policy reform. Our team of experienced interdisciplinary educators and advocates work together to help our constituents at local and national levels.
